We all know that dogs have basic needs, and that daily exercise and mental stimulation are paramount. Dogs need jobs to exercise their minds as well as their bodies - we provide both.
Adventure Walkies will give your dog the most fun and stimulating walks they could wish for. We don't think an hour's bimble around the local park is enough for our gang, so our walks are a minimum of 90 minutes and focused on encouraging enrichment and safe engagement with the environment.
If your dog joins our gang, we will pick them up from your home and take them on an adventure where they will join in with a structured exercise session led by an experienced dog professional.
We don't encourage over exciting “rough housing” play, despite how much it might tire the dogs out, and we do not allow our gang to mix with any dogs they don’t know. We play games and do bits of informal training as we walk, which keeps everydoggy focused on the human rather than each other. This has massive benefits for you, their guardian, as you know that while they will end up with dog friends, your dog wont be so fixated on others that they want to run off to play with every one you meet when out together.

We use grain free high protein rewards in our games and while walking to encourage solid recall and focus on handler as well as for getting everydoggy to pose for the camera. While we obviously want dogs to listen to us when we ask them to do something, we’d rather be your dog’s mate than their boss so that while they’re with us they’re getting to be with their friends rather than being ordered about or marched round a park.
We have a rule of a maximum 6 dogs per human unless on a secure field.
Dogs are not allowed off lead unless signed off to do so.
We cover: Horwich, Westhoughton, Atherton, Tyldsley, Walkden, Swinton, Worsley, Radcliffe, Little Lever, Great Lever, Darcy Lever, Kearsley, Farnworth.

Want your dog to join our gang?
Unfortunately, we can’t take aggressive dogs or rescue dogs with no previous history on our group adventures, but we can potentially provide appropriate solo walks for dogs like these so speak to us to discuss your needs.
Not all dogs are suitable for Adventure Walkies Bolton, or us for them, but if they are lucky enough to join our gang you can rest assured that they will really love it!
