Are you looking for someone you can trust to look after your pooch so you can have peace of mind when you’re at work?
Convinced that your dog will “never be tired out”?
Does your dog spot another dog in the park and sprint off with no regard for your calls?
You need more than a dog walker.
You need Adventure Walkies.
WALKS
Adventure Walkies prides ourself on doing -the best- walks, we look for places that give plenty of opportunities for dogs to be dogs. Sniffing, swimming, digging, peeing on (appropriate) things are encouraged and we will set up games along the way to get everyone really involved in such shenanigans.
We tailor our groups to make sure they are having the best time without getting wound up and hyper - we do not encourage over the top play and much prefer to be the centre of any game so as not to encourage dog on dog fixation.
TRAINING
We do not use aversive training techniques, so if you want to shake a can of gravel at your dog to stop it barking please look elsewhere. We believe in supporting a dog's learning in order to get results, it is true that this takes longer than using aversive techniques but in the long run provides more sustained behaviour modification. Be consistent, reward good behaviour and be your dog's mate, you will soon see results.
Tom
walks- groups
trains- puppies
Faye
walks – 1-2-1 “difficult to handle” dogs, 1-2-1 training
trains - puppies, behavioural modification, specialising in rescue dogs, reactive dogs and dogs with drive
Barbie
